Wrong title on bluetooth

I have the exact problem described in this closed thread: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Wrong-Title-when-playing-in-car-over-A2DP/idi-p/1616... however I'm using an LG G6 running Android 7.0. The cat is a Seat Leon 2015 model. Up to date with updates and worked fine with my Windows Phone previously, also tried friends HTC which worked ad expected. Looks to just be my device. Any suggestions as it is driving me slowly mad. Thanks!

Just to check, have you already tried giving Spotify a clean reinstall with these steps? If not, give that one a shot and let us know if it helps. Also, it'd be great if you could fire over your exact Spotify version.
