Your Library doesn't show filters correctly in Left-to-Right languages

Hey folks!

 

We've been getting reports that when switching language to a Left-to-Right language, labels on top of Your Library that users can tap on to filter contents overlap on the right and don't slide if you try to swipe.

Not a fan of the new version but a new issue emerged that just makes it frustrating.

The categories in this section (i.e. Artists, Playlists, Podcasts..) literally overlap. That means I can't see my Artists list or access it because the Playlists button is ON IT. 

Perhaps it's because my Spotify is in Hebrew and the new version struggles with right-to-left layout, who knows.

But if there's a solution out there.. I'd love to hear it.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community!

 

Could you try logging out, restarting your device, and logging back in? It's also worth restarting the app a couple of times. If the issue persists, could you try logging in to a different mobile device and let us know if there's any difference?

Tried relogging, clearing all data, reinstalling and it didn't help. 😞

Version: 8.6.40.929

Very frustrating!

I would rather switch the app language to English, but there's no way to do it unless you change your OS language to English as well.

I tried all the logging-out-deleting-and-reinstalling thing just recently with another issue i have (ghost episode in "your episodes" folder), but it didn't help.

 

the info you requested is:

Device: Samsung Galaxy A71

OS: Android 11

Spotify version: 8.6.40.929

Language: Hebrew.
