iOS App doesn't seem to have login fields

When I open the app there is only the option to "continue with email" which leads an account creation and "connect with facebook" which is not an option because I don't have facebook. How can I do a simple login? The logic board was recently replaced so it's basically brand-new as far as the software is concerned. I've attached a photo of the start screen of the app.  


I'm doing remote troubleshooting for my sister so getting back to you may be delayed 😉

  • When I try to log in it says we’re currently experiencing problems please try again later
  • I tried to reinstall and reset mobile even update my iOS 
  • if I use 3/4G or WiFi I still have the same problem
  • my device is iPhone 6s iOS 11.4.1
  • if I type my user or any word it says the words ( we’re currently exp..)

Do you get the same error message if you try to use another device with similar specs?

Have you tried to reset Network Settings?

Seems like this you're trying to sign up instead of login. Could you use the login option? 🙂

I am having the same issue. I only have one option upon opening the app and am not trying to sign up. I have an iPhone X and keep getting the same statement everytime I try to log in:  “We’re currently experiencing problems. Please try again later.”

Could also attach a screenshot of what do you seen when tapping Continue with email?

Could you try a quick clean reinstall of the app? Just follow these steps.

It seems like several of you are experiencing this issue.  Before we report it to our tech folks, we will need the following information from you, if you haven't provided it already:


  • Device(s):
  • Operating system(s):
  • Version(s) of Spotify
  • Country: 
  • Product: 

Also, try logging in with your username instead of your email address, and let us know if that works.


In the meantime, you can add your vote by clicking on the "+ VOTE" button to see how many people are being affected by the issue.
