[iOS] Devices Crashing upon startup

apps for both crash at launch 


I can’t get in to see the Spotify versions but they are the latest versions for each 


both devices have ample storage space 

 

iPhone X, iOS 13.4.1  , 170gb Free 

 

older iPad, iOS 12.4.6  , 35gb Free

 

Both started crashing at same time. They were fine all day. That they are both crashing indicates it’s not the device or software

My Question or Issue

So I tried to open the app to find a song, and it would not load at all. It just went to the screen and straight off. I thought maybe because it’s open on my Mac that might be why. Turned my phone off and on again- nothing. And I even uninstalled and reinstalled and it still won’t open but it will open on my Mac. Is this a phone issue?

I am having the same issue on my iPhone in CT... please fix! Weirdly enough, Tik Tok is doing the same thing, are they apart of the same company?

Hello,

When I launch the app on my phone and iPad, the app immediately crashes. I updated to the latest version (8.5.56); I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my devices and it is still crashing. Let me know if you would like more information. I have videos but they are too large to attach here.

Facing the same problem on the same device and same iOS with the latests spotify app here. Tried everything from redownloading the app to restarting my phone but it still crashes. Even tried another internet connection, nothing.

My app was working fine earlier today and now it crashes whenever I try to get it open. This is super frustrating. Every ‘fix’ or ‘solution’ I have found through this community is not helping. I’ve changed my language, tried a clean install, closed other apps and reset my phone... This is ridiculous for the money I pay for this service.

Yep same. In this thread https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/iOS-App-crashes-instantly/idi-p/4845488 it was claimed fixed, but it is not. I'm also having issues linking a firetv, as I signed everything out as part of troubleshooting this.
