[iOS] Devices Crashing upon startup

apps for both crash at launch 


I can’t get in to see the Spotify versions but they are the latest versions for each 


both devices have ample storage space 

 

iPhone X, iOS 13.4.1  , 170gb Free 

 

older iPad, iOS 12.4.6  , 35gb Free

 

Both started crashing at same time. They were fine all day. That they are both crashing indicates it’s not the device or software

Same. It was working a few hours ago. I got done working out and it won’t open now. I restarted my phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Quit the workout app I was using. Nothing is working. On iOS 13.3.1 and installed the app version that is two days old.

I am having the same issue with version 8.5.56 when it was updated today.

Same here. Crashes repeatedly on launch. iPad, 13.4.1

I am having the same issue. It actually crashed while I was in the app listening to my playlist. I could not get it to reload. I've tried all the online remedies (re-boot, reinstall of spotify) to no avail.

My Question or Issue

Title says it all mostly; however, to elaborate... Whenever I am connected to either a Wifi or LTE connection on my phone the spotify app crashes. When I am on airplane mode and not connected to the internet spotify opens and works offline. To fix the issue I tried closing the app, deleting the app and reinstalling, shutting down and turning back on my phone, and finally even hard-resetting my phone and none of the above methods fixed the issue. At this point I am questioning whether or not it is a problem on my personal device, though I would love input if anyone has some other method that might make this work. 

 

EDIT: Also offloaded the app, deleted, and reinstalled the app and this did not solve this issue either.

I'm having the same problem and was actually just about to make a post for it when I saw that you had already done so.

It was working fine just a minute ago, but it suddenly crashed and now when I try to reopen it, it'll just crash before it loads anything. I can access it fine on my computer. I have the Premium plan, too and am using it on my iPhone XR. Let me know if you find any fixes. Hopefully an update is released to fix it.

Same issue, 2 iPhones and iPadPro.  Una nd reinstalled; no luck. MacBook Pro app seems to work, so far but notify Connect fails to Heos 350 and Alexa, but works on my Denon; go figure. HELP!  I NEED MY MUSIC BACK!

I'm having the same issue! I was so afraid that it was my phone, but it seems to be on the app's end. Hopefully an update is put out soon to fix it!

i’m on an iphone 8 in australia with the latest version of spotify, have deleted and re installed, turned phone off and on, all the basic stuff. other apps are working fine.
