[iOS] Spotify Widget missing on lock screen

We've received reports from iOS users about the Spotify widget being invisible on their lock screen. When they attempt to view it from the from the notifications bar while the phone is locked, it appears blank.

Me as well. I did a clean reinstall but that didn't work. app ver 8.9.74

Hi all,

I just raised this issue to the spotify support center and the tec support team mentioned that this issue is currently getting fixed and will be resolved soon with an update. So keep an eye on the new version of the spotify iOS app version which they will release and hopefully this issue will be fixed from it. They couldn’t confirm an exact time frame but given the issue it will be released soon they said.

I hope they could give us the interactive Home Screen widget too while getting this fixed.

I had the same issue. I went into the App Store and did the update for Spotify, and it fixed it.

Good news I updated to the iOS 18 and it was still invisible but I went to the App Store and updated Spotify and now it works!!! Everyone go see if you can update your app
