iphone bug: now playing and last queue song are invisible

this has been going on for months. the now playing song and last queue song invisible: i can’t see them and i can’t drag or delete the last queue song. i’ve tried logging and and deleting and redownloading the app and that hasn’t worked.

-i'm on an iPhone 6S with iOS 11.2.5 and the latest version of spotify (8.4.40)

Just to confirm, does the same happen if you use a different internet connection? Also, let's try reinstalling Spotify now that you've updated the iOS to see if it helps.

Yes. It happens no matter what wifi I'm on, or if I'm using data.  Did that and it did not work!  Thank you for responding.

We've checked and there's a new version of Spotify available for iOS. Could you update your Spotify app? Let us know if it helps.
