local files wont play on iphone or ipad

I recently downloaded some tracks of soundcloud that i then synced to the spotify on my laptop, they play just fine there. However when i tried syncing them to my ipad or ipone they didn't appear. Ive scoured this page for answers.Ive uninstalled the app on all my devices then redownloaded it, ive removed the firewall, chnaged the sync settings, loggen in the out, made sure i downloaded it to a playlist. None of it worked and here I am stuck, frustrated and annoyed. I dont undertsand how spotify has not adressed this issue yet, its everywhere, and its been going on for sooo long, the posts  about this issue date from 4 years back !. This company should really get it together.
