i searched my gmail and haven't received anything in close to a month.

checked my prefs and both email and push notifications are enabled.

Thanks for letting us know about this. Just to confirm, did you check the preferences here?

Let us know what kind of notifications were you expecting and if possible let us know an example. We'll see what to suggest.
