offline not able to login, @Chris workaround doesn't work S7 Edge

This issue has been posted many many times in community, still no Fix?

Tried to log in to premium Spotify on Android S7 Edge, message said I was offline and needed to log in online. First that's confusing wording? Then when spent an hour trying to find solution, Spotify kept pushing me to a 'workaround' from @Chris (I think). His solution DIDN'T WORK, if you read numerous threads for Android, it didn't work for them either. There was a great post stating this very issue and explaining that WE don't want to "Reinstall App" and re-download all songs everytime 'Android' phones have a bug or fix issue.

PLEASE fix this 'offline' 'online' issue. I don't even know how this app goes offline? Right now I can log into Spotify with Windows Computer and my IPad just fine. Why your developers or this app hate Android users so much or you only like fixing IOS issues? If this app isn't compatible with Android phones, just tell us, I was gonna pick up a Samsung wearable, but not until Android issues get attentention they need. Not a message "not sure of fix date" I'll go back to free version where if I run into issues, No worries, it's free! Oh yeah, Spotify wouldn't let me take screenshot of issue, privacy I think it said?

Hey folks!

Rest asurred the Tech team is looking into this as we speak. As soon as there's an update, this thread will be updated, so please head there.

If the workaround doesn't help, reinstalling Spotify will allow you to log back in.

If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to open a new thread.

All the best.
