open.spotify.com redirection

Whenever I use the web player, instead of getting my original play.spotify.com I get redirected to open.spotify.com which I've seen in other posts is because of random beta selection. Since it doesn't work at all, I'd really like the old one back. I can't download the actual app because I have a chromebook which doesn't support the app. Is there any solution as of right now?

So, it's not an issue? Really?! What is it then? Are you dropping play.spotify.com in favour of open.spotify.com? If so, this is a terrible decision since it still lacks the majority of features. Furthermore, there's another issue right now and it can't even stream anything!
