"Play Everywhere" function has enable my webplayer

When I open the webplayer on internet (via laptop), it connects automatically to my mobile phone. I can't play any sound from my webplayer, the sound comes only from my phone.

If I click on the devices available, I can see my web player but nothing happens when I click on it, it still stays connected to my phone.

 

I didn't have this issue until the "play everywhere" function was released.

Does anyone know how to fix it ?

I don't want Spotify to connect to other devices automatically.

Does this same issue happen if you use the desktop app instead of the web player? Also, is the app open on your phone (active or in the background) when this happens?

 

We'll see what we can suggest once we have this info.

I'm having the same issue. The app is not running on the device.

Could you send us your device's OS? Also, what web browser and version are you using to rock Spotify?

 

In the meantime, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or using a different browser.
