"Sharing playlist link" showing incorrect preview and playlist description etc

Long time music listener, first time caller...

I am very happy with my experience so far, Spotify Premium was a great choice.

I recently expanded my experience by sharing my playlist and instead of showing my picture i chose or a couple different bands album art in the description. The share link preview shows "a playlist in spotify" which seems fairly general and removes the purpose of titles etc if they will not show. Also the preview should update to show the most recent image as it does across spotify. However the current linking info only grabs "A playlist featuring (1 band name)" and then chooses a mix of only the 1 band's albulm artwork.  It should be noted that the correct image is linked properly (though sometimes slowly) with the other Spotify platforms for the artwork. See pictures below.

I realize this is likely not for every cass. However as far as the preivew art is concerned, the playlist "sharing artwork preivew" (which is basically the hottest selling feature for people to follow playlists onto Spotify and in turn sign up) which is pictured below is incorrect and sloppy.

The link should include the CURRENT image associated with the playlist and the proper description AND title. Please let me know if I have missed any steps to correct these things but as of yet (many hours of trying) I'm unable to change the general description, incorrect images and titles. This faulty linking and sharing issue is a huge drawback for users. Because I am not inept with a computer I feel like less experienced users will have an even more frustrating experience with the aesthetically displeasing sharing experience.

Again I am so far very impressed with almost everything else, I realize it is a process but as far as sharing goes, this should be adressed as high priority.

Sincrely,

Lyndon

Hey @KingLambros!

It's odd that this is happening. You could try signing out of your account and log back in, try to copy the link of the playlist again and paste it on Facebook. Did you get the same result?

You could also try using a different browser or even a different device. Let us know if it makes any difference.

Keep us posted.

Hello @FabianS_Bogota,

Thank you for the timely reply.

I have tried signing out, restarting spotify, installing the new update, using my phone and my laptop instead and the same result. Still what seems to be an automated link crawler issue? Possibly an issue with the grab coding.

This is severely affecting my desire to share anything.

Talk soon,

KingLambros

Hello @FabianS_Bogota,

The issue has been resolved about 5 minutes after I posted the previous comment. Thank you very much and I will continue to support the community and Spotify. Great response time and attention to this issue.
