Hey folks,

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! Just make sure you're not using a VPN and your app is updated to the latest version.

If you're still having trouble, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here.

Thanks!

if u reading this just click 3dots at the top left "Sol Üst" and then select help "Yardım" then select troubleshooting "Sorun Giderme" then select restart app and reset app data "Uygulama verilerini sıfırla ve yeniden başlat" wait for 10-15 second and its done.

Same problem, this time not on Turkey.

Windows desktop app keeps refusing to log in. It's been more than a week. Already tried a lot of steps mentioned here to reset things and even updated my Windows to 11, yet the problem keeps on giving.

Weirdly enough, there's no problem to logging into Spotify on the browser nor on the phone.

Sorry, this issue is _not_ fixed. It occurs every time the Windows app starts.

This is not fixed and was not related to Turkey only. This started to happen weeks ago but since last week i cant use desktop app at all as it doesnt work.

When I start app, it shows that msg "something went wrong" for about 1-2secs, then all looks normal, i can browse playlists, search songs, until moment I press play on any song, it starts to play for 3-5seconds and then stops, after that no other song can be started.

Windows 10 22H2 , i had desktop app version 1.2.56.502.ga68d2d4f , when i tried to download it again from web player it installs only 1.2.53.440.g7b2f582a but offers update to 1.2.56.502 (ehm why?) , i tried to clear cache, reinstall app numerous times, nothing helps.

Nevertheless it doesn work, webplayer on same PC works fine!. So it is some bug in the app.

Since i have custom DNS configured, i suspect that app tries to do some lame (badly coded) check for internet or something and it just fails. But web player works fine because web pages arent allowed to do anything fancy and it just use browser's connection and stream data from web (im no coder but thats my guess).

Also the comment above "dont use VPN" strengthen my suspicious that they are doing something ugly in the app (why would you even care about vpn, ppl use it for various purposes), and no i dont have vpn, only custom DNS.
