"There was a problem" error when joining Premium Duo

Hey folks,

 

We've received some reports that users are unable to join Premium Duo plans, as a "There was a problem" error is appearing. It seems to be only affecting users in Argentina for now. 

 

This is being investigated.

I've lost my premium due to issues with payment. Now I have it again and need to add my wife to the plan. I entered my addres and when trying to add her, I can't. I logged off my account and hers from all the devices and connected mine in one computer and hers in another and different browsers. I was sure to enter the exact same address and when trying to add her to the account, I've got the There was a problem message. I went through all the topics related to this to see any type of solution but nothing worked. I checked her profile to be sure she has only free and not suscripted or owner of any other premium account.

Can you help me with this? Don't know what else to try.

Here are some troubleshooting steps worth giving a try in order to fix this:

  • Try with a different browser or using an incognito window
  • Try with a different connection or a different device
  • Try changing the address

  • Screenshot of the issue (make sure to exclude any personal info)
  • The troubleshooting steps you've tried

Same problem here: After filling the address and confirm it, I am sent to a "Hubo un problema. Inténtelo de nuevo más tarde" ("There was a problem, try it again later") page. I´ve tried it with Firefox, Chrome and Edge, with and without incognito mode: same results. No VPN involved. Tried also with my cellphone.

Same problem issue with “Hubo un problema inténtalo más tarde” after I tried to finish the premium duo process, please advise how to fix it. I tried everything previous user mentioned @Novy

Hi,

I am facing the issue to add my wife's account with my duo plan. I've tried from different networks and different browsers and different devices. But everytime I am getting same message after confirming the address which is "There was a problem. Please try again later". I've tried this for at leat 5 times when I bought duo plan and few days later, today I also tried multiple times, but still same result. Seeing same messag every time. Please help me on this.

I am currently in a free account but trying to accept a duo account invite from my roommate.  I am also getting a "There was a problem, please try again later" error.

HI Spotify team, this is now broken for me 😞 I upgraded to duo from an individual plan, when i shared the link with my fiancé (we were on the same WIFI her account is Swedish too) the whole thing just didn't work and I saw

"Det uppstod ett problem, försök igen senare"
