"publish my activity" automatically turns off

My friends can't see what I'm lisening to, and I keep turning on my "publish my activity on spotify' button in settings, but they still can't see and everytime I close the app it resets and says I have it turned off. Is there any way to keep it on?

I have the same issue with my 'publish activity' and stop working starting last week.

Mine did that too, or so I thought until I realized that my desktop client actually follows my mobile-app settings. So if I set my desktop Spotify on "Publish my activity" it will publish my activity, but if I go into the mobile-app and change to "Don't publish",  my desktop client will automatically switch to not to publish either. The mobile-app seems to be master of the settings.

...since the newest update my friendsfeed does not seem to work at all however 😞 but I see that there is another thread for that...

The team have been working on things here.
We appreciate your patience, and we're happy to hear many of you confirm this is now fixed for you.

If you're still having trouble, can you try updating the app once more?
This should do the trick.

We also noticed some of you mention you're having trouble with the Friend Feed.
For this, we'd recommend adding your info to this thread instead.

It hasn't been fixed at all. My friends still can't see my activity, even though all the settings about publicity etc are turned on. What can I do?

The team have been looking into things here.

The issue where "publish my activity" automatically turns off should be fixed.
If you're still having trouble, make sure you're running the latest version of the app.

We're closing this one up now, but we've noticed a few comments regarding the Friend Feed not updating.
Rest assured this is being looked at here.
