In megadeth's newest album  "Dystopia" on the windows desktop app, the song "The Threat Is Real" is 54 minutes and 55 seconds and is consisted of the entire playlist when it's supposed to be Just that one song and 4 minutes and 22 seconds. Thanks for any help!

REMINDER: This only happens on my computer, on my phone it just plays the 4 min song but on my computer it messes up.

Hey @BorkedKnees! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

That's not cool! Could you try to log out and log back in to Spotify? Does it still happen after that? If so, could you attach screenshots of what's happening? That'd be very helpful! 🙂

Have a great weekend!

Hey @BorkedKnees!

Hmm, I'm not able to replicate this on my end. Could you reinstall Spotify with these steps? Let me know how it goes! 🙂

Hey @BorkedKnees!

No worries! - Alright, thanks for trying! 🙂 What Spotify and OS version are you using? Also, could you send over the track URI of the track?

Thanks @BorkedKnees.

Let's try a deeper reinstallation to get this fixed. Just follow these steps:

  • Log out of Spotify and then close the program.
  • Uninstall
  • Browse to the cache and delete everything inside the folder. The default location should be:

C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage

  • Delete also the folder:

C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Users\<random numbers-user>\

There is a folder for each profile that has been logged into Spotify on that computer account.

  • Restart your PC.
Let us know how it goes.
