won’t play my music

Spotify was working great for a while but now on my I pod when I press the green shuffle play button on my song list or my playlists it moves, but no songs play! 

Other  people’s account playlists do play but mine won’t! I can’t listen to my songs and this is terribly annoying

how can I fix this?

How long has this been happening for? What device, operating system, and Spotify version are you using? Also, does this happen on a different device?
