Adding samsung smart tv as a device

Hi, wondering if anyone could help.

Ive got a premium subscription, i have currently two devices added and would  like to add my samsung tv as the third device in order to be able to listen to my itunes/windows media player playlists through my tv app.

At the moment, I can see the itunes/windows media player playlists on my tv app but i cant play them. I am able to do so on both my PC and phone though.

I only have my PC and phone listed as devices so i thought this could be the problem. I am finding it impossible to add my samsung smart tv as a device though.

I'd like to add that normal spotify playlists dont seem to be a problem when i want to listen to them on the tv app.

Local files are supported in the Spotify desktop and mobile apps.

Unfortunately, you cannot play local files in the TV app. You can only stream songs that are on Spotify.
