Yeah, this bug makes the web player basically useless for me.
I am new to this community forum, i don't know how many people have seen this post, but please help to let people know about this bug so spotify developers take needful steps to resolve this issue.
I have the same problem, i hope spotify wil solve this problem.

I came accross this problem today, advanced search is not working!
Do you have some update about this ? I use it very often and also the error is quite weird, as if it is being escaped to avoid some kind of injection or something: No results found for "genre%3Arock"
Still no response from spotify support, even the basic
tag:new
is not working which they highlighted in a thread as new term used to find new music.
Now it has become inconvenient & slow procedure for me to open the desktop app and then input the tags manually in its tiny search bar, before that i used to bookmark my favorite labels links in browser. but now spotify web player (open.spotify.com) is nearly useless for me.
please update me if you find a fix
