[All Platforms][Connect] PS3 says Error connecting to Spotify after login attempt

I can’t use Spotify on my PlayStation 3

After attempting to login I continuously get the error message “error connecting to Spotify please try again later”. I tried several Options suggested on different help sites. I tried unlinking and relinking my Spotify account to PlayStation music. Un unclogged from PSN. I unlinked to my Spotify account from my Facebook Account. I tried connecting to the Spotify app on the PlayStation through Spotify connect, entering my account details and also tried to sign up with an entirely new account. All these attempts led to the same error message “error connecting to Spotify please try again later”.

I can play music through my PlayStation over Spotify Connect while the Spotify app is open but I never get to log into it for Further options or background replay. 

help would be greatly appreciated
