All songs stop after 9 seconds

I have been using the Spotify web player just fine for months on Chrome and now all of a sudden songs only play for 9 seconds. My browser is up to date and nothing else has changed but how long I can play a song. How do you fix this problem?

I am using Premium, in the USA and on an HP Laptop using the web player. It won't let me download the app for some reason.

If yes, be sure to check if there is an update for your Google Chrome ready that might fix this problem. And if that still doesn't help, please try to clear your browser cache/cookies to see if that makes any difference. ^^
