My Question or Issue
So I used to have my echo registered to a friend's Amazon who had Amazon Music and my echo had no trouble finding any song or artist.
I recently decided to set up my Own Amazon account so I could sync my calendar with Alexa. I have Spotify which is premium enabled due to my brother having a family premium account.
I set Echo to default to Spotify, but it says 'I cannot find "Band Name" in your music library. I assume this is referring to Amazon music? Which is annoying as I have set it to Spotify...
Even if I say 'Play music by "band name" on Spotify' Alexa still refuses.
This doesn't happen with all bands. I have noticed Destinies Child doesn't Work
Avici Doesn't Work, The Beatles Doesn't Work.
Is this a problem with Spotify or Alexa? (I will also be posting to the Alexa forum.
I already have an apple music subscription and have Spotify, I am not paying for Amazon Music also, I will end up binning my echos...
