Amazon Echo keeps playing same song over and over

Hello:

I have done some searching and have not found anything posted like my question, but If I have missed something I am sorry. Recently if I tell Alexa to play a song it does, but then it just repeats and repeats until I tell it to stop. This seemed to happen around the time they added multi-speaker support. Has anyone else seen this if so do you know how to stop it?

I am also annoyed with this problem; it’s been a while since this was posted, if anyone has an answer that’d be great!

Hi no, I never got a reply, but I did find that if I open the Spotify app on my computer and make sure repeat was turned off it seemed to carry over to Alexa, BUT it does mean your computer needs to always be on and have Spotify launched, which doesn’t seem practical... I am not sure why there isn’t a real fix, I am glad to know it isn’t just me.
