Amazon echo plays wrong music

Hi all,

I have searched but not found the same issue mentioned so apologies if I’ve missed it.

Whenever I ask either of my echo devices to play anything, be it single, album or playlist Alexa responds that she’s playing what I’ve asked but Spotify always plays the last song I’ve listened to or continues from last album or playlist listened.

I’ve tried resetting both echos and reinstalling app on phone etc. but the issue seems to persist.

I’d very much appreciate any help,
