Can't play random songs (they are not greyed out).

My Question or Issue

There are certain songs that should be available since their titles are white but for some reasons when I try to play them I see a "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have this file on your computer, import it." on my PC and on my phone it just doesn't play at all. If I put the "unavailable" song into the queue it just skips it and plays the next available song. It's quite annoying because I'm paying in order to listen to whatever I want whenever I want but this strange error doesn't. My friends who also use Spotify Premium don't seem to have that problem. Please help me fix it.

I have the exact same problem!

I was listening to an album, then I moved country for a couple of days and when I came back home that very album wasn't available anymore.. just a coincidence??.. and songs are not greyed out (I can see some greyed out tracks in my playlists)

Any clue what the problem could be?

Clearing cache, logging out, reinstalling.. nothing works.. on both my Android phone and my Linux laptop.

Could you see if Spotify appears in your hosts file using sudo nano /etc/hosts

If you see Spotify there, try removing it and try again.
