Cant find my reciever

I can't find my reciever. I got a rx-v677 yamaha reciever, it's wired if that's matters, anyhow, I can use the receiver on the app, can stream my own music on the phone, BUT when i try to locate the reciever on my phone it dont exist. So my question is how do i find my reciever? I mean i can control the reciever from my phone but i can't locate it on my spotify app. And yes I got premium, and i have downloaded the lastest drivers to my reciever too. no reactions at all when i try to stream it....

If your receiver is wired and your phone is on WiFi you need to make sure they are on the same subnet. Check your router settings.

They are on same subnet, I mean I got access so I can control the whole reciever but I can't use spotify connect. it's wierd.. 😧
