[Community][Social] The current new ideas voting system simply leaves users ignored

I understand the usage of a voting system on new ideas to filter out a large number of posts that are not reasonable or wanted by the spotify community, but the fact that a post needs an arbitrary number of votes to even be considered creates a barrier between the users and the company. This especially makes no sense when a post can be marked as a "good idea", given votes and comments in support of the post, but still no effort is made by Spotify to even consider the change or new feature. Not trying to sound upset here but just wanted to point out that this is not the best way to hear feedback from your users. An idea doesn't need an exact number of votes in a forum that is only looked at by a small fraction of your users to be worth implementing.

Hey there @nlal43,

Thanks for your feedback on the ideas process.

We'll be sure to keep it mind for our future work on how we handle ideas in our Community.

We've chosen the number of votes required based on data from past ideas that have been successful and popular on the Community. As well as looking at the general ''life cycle'' of posted ideas.

But we also review the process on a regular basis and make improvements if we notice they might be needed.

Most approved ideas on the forum (this means the ones that don't go against our Guidelines) have a chance of being implemented since we monitor even ideas with Closed statuses.

Our main goal is to keep better track of the most relevant and popular suggestions and give them a reply quickly.

We appreciate you taking the time to let us know your opinion on this. We'll be here if there's anything else we can do for you.

Cheers!
