Getting songs from artists with same names as ones I listen to

I've been getting songs in stuff like "Release radar" from artists with same names as ones I listened before, but actually completely different. Like Oasis, Blur or Public Enemy,which are completely different from these Oasis, Blur and Public Enemy.

I wonder if this could be fixed?

This is not related to a problem when a song album is marked with a wrong artist with a same name.

If you ever find music that you don't actually like, don't forget to tag it with "Don't like" or "Don't play this Artist". That way we'll learn more about what you like and will be able to offer you better recommendations 🙂

I'm just worried that pressing don't like on these artists will affect artist I actually like, since the algorithm could swing both ways.

No worries. Pressing Don't Like will affect a specific Spotify URI related to the Artist you don't like only. Feel free to try it out with one example first!
