Greyed out songs in spotify

Hi

Seems songs added to a playlist or downloaded a certain time ago gets greyed out... each and every song 

of more than 100 greyed out ones was available when I searched for them....

Are these tracks local files? Can you still play them even if they are greyed out?

Does this happen to only one playlist? A screenshot would be helpful. 

Also, what happens if you uncheck the "Show unavailable songs in playlists" setting. Do you still see them?

Hi

These are downloaded songs, found by searching spotify. I can not play them
when greyed out, but when I sesrch for them (at any time), they are both
playable and downloadable. Seems greying out mainly occur in old playlists
/ with songs downloaded some time ago (years).

It has happened to all my older playlists, with more greyed out songs in
the oldest playlists. screenshot attached.

I have the "Show unavailable songs in playlists" setting unchecked by
default. So, that did not help...

Thanks for getting back to us!

Try to remove all your Offline devices here and preform a reinstall on all your devices. You can read here how.

You'll need to re-download all songs but it should get everything up and running.

Thanks for the effort, but after removing all units, re-installing spotify
app and downloading all playlists again,
unfortunately the same songs are still greyed out....
