Local files must be included as a source in the later versions of spotify! So create a folder or just use "my music" and add this as a source in spotify:


Go to the Taskbar(top of screen) on a Pc/Mac

Mac : "spotify" -> "Preferences" -> go to "Local Files" section and "add source"

Pc : "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> go to "Local Files" section and "add source"
