How to get rid of spotify connect

Ok so I've had Spotify for almost a year and I love it. I have premium and I love how you can get it on all your devices, so I allowed my sister to get it and sign into my account on her Kindle. However, this dumb Connect thing is the most idiotic update they could have come up with. If I try to listen to music, it changes what she is currently listening to, and vice versa. And there's no option to turn the darn thing off. If I can't fix this I'll going to cancel my subscription because what good is having music of you can't listen to it? And why would I need this stupid connect thing anyway? What is it supposed to be used for? And why does the Spotify team think this update is so spectacular that it doesn't need an off button?
