Sorry to hear that you are having trouble logging in. If you are a Free Spotify user, then you will not be able to use Spotify for more than 14 days outside of your registered country. If you are a Premium user, then you can use Spotify anywhere in the world.
Keep in mind that some countries do not yet have Spotify available. For country, you will want to use the country that you live in and from which you hold a residence or home address. Here is a link to a list of countries where Spotify is available.
