I can't share music in instagram stories

Hi, I have the same problem too.

My phone is Huawei P8

My Spotify version is 8.4.77.779 and

my Instagram version is 68.0.0.11.99

I already tried reinstalling both of the apps.

Hi! I've just uninstalled (cleared the cache and data first) and re-install both the app but still not working for me.. 
There's a option for Instagram, but its "Direct" only.. it doesn't allow me to share it to my Story.. only send it to my friends in Instagram...

Could you confirm that the issue you are experiencing is as per the original user's comment, namely that the Share to Instagram Stories option isn't there at all?

If this is the case, then please try updating your Instagram and Spotify apps to the latest updates.

If that doesn't work, could you get back to us with the following information:

• OS version and device
• Spotify app version
• Instagram app version?

We will then look into the issue further.

Upon tapping share, the "share to Instagram stories" function isn't even
there in the list. No prompt to sign in again.

I've already try updating, removing and reinstalling, logging out and then back in, and this option to share songs in instagram stories doesn't work.

Yes there is a share button, but the "Share to Instagram Stories" isn't there nor I'am promted to sign in again.

Device: Sony XA Ultra (F3212)

Android Ver.: Nougat (7.0)

Spotify Version: 8.4.77.779

Instagram Version: 68.0.0.11.99

That's the latest version of Spotify and Instagram in my phone, already tried checking for updates before I made this comment.

And for the record, the original user's comment was that there was NO "share to instagram stories" option, NOT prompt to sign in again. I checked.

Hey all

We had a small issue but this should be fixed now. If sharing still does not work, be sure to upgrade Spotify and Instagram to the newest version. Should do the trick.
