Issues with Playback

Hello, I'm having some issues with Spotify through Sonos. 

 

Some songs play (the ones that I think have been successfully played recently), however most will start to "play" with no sound for 9-10 seconds before stopping and giving me an error saying either "Performance issues" or "Connection to Spotify was lost". 

 

Any ideas?

I have had sonos-spotify problems for months. Sonos can't seem to solve it, it is obviously a fragile system.
