Maintain "Playstate" between devices

I have a work playlist & a car playlist. The work playlist includes a full range of music that keeps me going through the day, including explicit content I'm not keen on having my son hear just yet.

When I get into my car and my phone connects via bluetooth, it inevitably picks up my play-state for the work playlist from my Mac and starts playing that. I switch to my car playlist which means when I get to my Mac to continue working it now registers that my phone switched to the car playlist and continues playing that music.

Keep in mind that if only one Spotify account is accessed across your devices (e.g. accessing account "X" a song is played for 15 sec) then the use of the account (song played for 15 sec) will be the same across all devices.
