My Spotify Account Is Crashing The Web Player

Every time I open Spotify Web player and click on the Play button, the entire page becomes unresponsive, the laptop fan starts freaking out and then the page crashes. This happens to me on MacBook, Chromebook and Windows PC and on every possible browser that supports Spotify

But if I log out of my account and use my girlfriend's, everything works perfectly. I can select every song and play it without a hitch. So the problem is clearly, specifically, my Spotify account, not the web player or my OS.

What could possibly cause this to happen?

Hey @CedricJay! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

That doesn't sound cool.

How many playlists do have on your account?

Let me know how it goes! ^^

Peace

Hi Nico. Yeah, it's a bit of a pickle! I have 24 playlists on my account. Created the last one about a month ago. I should probably add: This issue started I think on Wednesday October 17, pretty much out of the blue.

@CedricJay

I've escalated this issue to the support.

I will reply on this thread with help soon. ^^

Peace

Be sure that all your music is in public playlists. You ma  need to close your account and create a new one.

You can visit your old account and grab all playlists by searching the following in the search bar:

spotify:user:username

'username' has to be replaced with your username.

You have one week to visit your old account, after you've closed it. ^^

Peace
