Not receiving all notifications for new releases

Hi,

I have had spotify for quite a awhile now, I follow over 300 artists however I dont recieve some of the new release notifications. Eg. Flume just released a new song Some Minds. I was waiting for the notification to come through, however it never did. So I searched for it and it surely enough it was there.

You would think they would have fixed this by now, but no they havent.

I dont think it is a simple reinstall as I have the same issue amongst all my devices.

Any help to fix this issue would be appreciated.

this has been broken since the beginning of time. never do i get all notifications for followed artist new releases. never. i would say 25% might make a notification. they don't even appear in the new release section somtimes -  75% of the time i find them on Google Play or Rdio new releases section, and have to physically go find them on Spotify, and boom there they are. you would think spotify would recommend these new releases based on my listening taste, but no

Well that sucks, I really hope they fix it because I miss out on good new music... i wonder why there is a problem with it. It is usually the popular artists as well.

Thank you so much! At least now I can see all the future new releases when they happen. Hopefully they will fix it.
