[ONKYO TX-NR515] Unavailability of playlist

Hello members of this board

I've been searching the web for hours but I was unable to find a complete answer so therefor my question to the board.

Let me start of with my givens : A premium spotify account, an Onkyo TX-NR515 with latest firmware, an internet connection, a local network...I am able to play spotify music on the Onkyo device using the Spotify Connect App (or via smartphone or via desktop)

My question :

Is there a way to browse or even just play my playslist using "only" my Onkyo?

I intentially bought this device to be able to play music without using my smartphone or computer. (looking at internet video's made me believe it is possible)

Like I said, it is possible to play music using the spotify connect, once I'm playing music, I can even turnoff my desktop/smartphone. But I want to be able to start music without having to power up my desktop/smartphone app. 

You all know the video where the user is loging in to spotify with his username and password. In my believe, he doesn't need his smartphone to start his music.
