Offline Playing

I just upgraded my account to premium yesterday with spotify, because I knew that premium offers offline play. I have enabled offline play on my iphone, but then when I try to play songs it says I have to sync the songs with my computer. When I attempt to do that I haven't found any way at all to enable offline playing from my computer. Am I missing something? Do I need to download anything onto my computer? Currently I am using the "web player" when I go to spotify.com.

Are you sure you're logged in to the right account, the account which has the premium subscription? 

Do you have an playlist?  Playlists are the best way to save music. Please create an playlist and check if you've the option to save it for offline use.

I am logged into the right account, and I do have a couple of playlists. I've even tried to make a new one and see if the offline playing option worked and it doesn't seem to be working.
