Onkyo receiver (TX-NR636) not shown in desktop application

Hi,

 

I can see my A/V receiver from my Android device but not from the desktop application. All three devices are on the same WiFi network.

 

I'd much rather control my playlist from the desktop then my Android device that sits on the console table, charging.

my trial period of the service is almost completed. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion because I don't intend on paying for this service if this is not working. 😞

I've had all kinds of problems with this.  The spotify process on my receiver always gets fouled up: disappears form my list of spotify devices, i loose sound, the receiver is switched to muting. I can always fix it but there is constant need for me to intervene.  I'm not sure if this is a spotify problem or a receiver problem.   iPad, Android and Macbook all behave just fine but the receiver is totally unreliable.
