Podcast won't play on wifi speakers

Music is playing fine on speaker, but when I switch to play podcasts it won't even give me the option  to play it on already chosen speaker.

Currently, podcasts are not supported while using the Connect feature. There is a similar idea here that you can vote for. Don't worry if it's inactive right now, you can still vote 🙂

What is the status of this now?

Podcasts play on some of my external speakers like Withings Aura, but not others like Audio Pro, Samsung etc. Playing songs work fine on all speakers.
