Proper shuffling of songs in playlist

It seems pretty basic and I have seen community posts from March this year about the same issue but Spotify does not properly shuffle songs. Spotify responded with some big long post about how they use some fancy algorithm to randomly shuffle and insisted that's what it does. Of course, all they would need to do is create a playlist and play it several times and find out pretty quickly it doesnt work.

I have 380 songs in a play list and I get the same first up song every time I hit Shuffle - and while I love Hotel California I dont want to hear it as the first song every time. I then tried shuffle 3 times in a row and the first 8 songs were identical. COME ON SPOTIFY - ITS NOT THAT HARD! Thankyou 🙂
