Ps4 streaming using iPhone data?

Hello, I've noticed that since I began using spotify on my ps4 the data on my iPhone was used up completely within the first week. My service provider doesn't show me what my data is used on exactly so I'm left in the dark.

When I stream on ps4 I tend to use my phone to select songs or for everything really. Another bit of detail is my phone constantly disconnects from wifi and uses my LTE data without me realizing.

So my question is if I am listening on my ps4 and controlling spotify from my phone, will it use my data?

Labels are incorrect, information on labels is scarce and limited so not entirely my fault also no noticeable way to edit them.

The only data the Spotify app on your iPhone will use would be to connect to Spotify's servers to communicate. The data usage should be very little. 

The PS4 is what does the actual streaming from Spotify's server using data.
