My Question or Issue

Hello, I have 2 x Samsung R1 wireless speakers and an iPad Pro - they are ALL connected to the same wireless network and same channel.

 

I use the Samsung Multiroom app to GROUP the speakers and then play music through the SPOTIFY app using SPOTIFY CONNECT to play to the GROUP.

 

This works for about 20 minutes, then the music stops playing and I have to reselect the spotfy connect GROUP and resume playing - this happens continuosly throughout the day.

 

Playing DEEZER through the multiroom app has no issues, playing TuneIn radio through the app also works perfectly.

 

I have tried resetting and re configuring everything SO many times and exactly the same thing happens when using SPOTIFY CONNECT.

Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry for the delay. Are you still experiencing this?

 

Try restarting all your devices (and speakers). Also, make sure that:

  • All devices are on the same WiFi network.
  • Your Spotify app is up-to-date.
  • All devices’ software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturers for how to update the version software. 

If possible, try switching between different networks and see if that helps.
