Samsung Smart TV with keyboard

Hi!
I have to admit I liked seeing the Spotify app on my Samsung PS64E8005!
Since using the tv-remote for this app is hopelessly slow and annoying, I quickly bought myself a Logitech K400r wireless keyboard. Samsung insists that any keyboardsupport is entirely up to the "app-maker", so my question is this:
Since both Samsung and Logitech is listed as your "Hardware Partners", is there a good reason why I have to use the arrow-keys and enter on this, instead of having the possibility to write in the search-field like i would on a computer?
I have to admit that this is bugging me!:(

There isn't really anyway to add this, and the Spotify devs would have to make it into the app, if Spotify actually make it 😉
