Hy folks,
when using sonos devices, can i listen to different songs in different rooms of my house, but using only one spotify account.
Does anybody discovered any problems with this setup?
kind regards
okoehn
Solved! Go to Solution.
Dear Okoehn
I have SONOS in 4 rooms (1 AMP and 3 SONOS1), and i play different music in all rooms from one acount.
But you can not play from SONOS and Spotify in the same time. Then one of them will stop.
I use both Spotify playlists and SONOS playlists. It works fine.
I am not an expert, but if you have any quiestions dont hesitate to ask. I til try to help.
Best regards

Not sure if it means 1 account, but on the sonos help article it says:
https://support.spotify.com/problems/#!/article/Sonos
"Sonos devices
You can control your Sonos system from the Sonos controller, the Sonos iPhone app, or any computer and stream different tracks to different rooms of the house, all in pitch perfect sound quality."
And here: https://www.spotify.com/sonos/
It says
"Play in any room.
Let one tune fill the house, or play a different song in each room."

Hi -
I read through the answers, but I still am not clear. Can I play different Spotify playlists in different rooms using Sonos?
I think the answers sound like you can play different music on the Sonos app but one room has to be from Sonos and the other room has to be from Spotify.
Can you clarify for me? I'm considering buying another Sonos speaker, but only if I can play different playlists from my current Spotify account.
Thank you!
