Spotify 5.2.4.0 on Lumia 650

Since the last windows 10 update on my Lumia 650 phone (Creators update 1703, build 10.0.15063.297)  Spotify does not function anymore : it loads but as soon as you try to play a song, it immediate stops again. On my old Lumia 640 (which I gave to my daughter) Spotify is still working, also with creators update 1703  . What is special about the Lumia 650 , it has more RAM (1 Gb) so I would expect the opposite...
