Spotify Connect & Sonos: My Activity Not Tracking ?

I have verified with Spotify support on Twitter that Spotify is not tracking my activity when I use Spotify connect with my Sonos. Can we confirm this is accurate? 

 I notice these consequences: 

 

This feels accurate as I I notice these consequences: 

  1. my activity when using spotify connect + sonos is NOT affecting the dynamic playlists. (and that sucks 🙂 
  2. my activity when using spotify connect + sonos is NOT affecting my Faceboook activity log (not a huge deal to me) 
  3. If my activity when using spotify connect + sonos is NOT being properly tracked, then artists, writers, and labels etc are not being properly compensated - and that is unacceptable.
