Spotify Desktop and Denon avr-x2400h (Spotify Connect enabled)

Using any android phone and ios I can send music to the Denon, no problem

But using spotify desktop on the same lan, I can't see the Denon.

 

Only after I connect from a phone , I can see it on Spotify Desktop

Hey @llenahuevos.

 

Just to confirm, is your Denon speaker connected via LAN or WiFi? To have it show as a connect option, both the speaker and PC must be in the same network (LAN or WiFi).

 

If they're sharing the same network, try restarting the internet router to see if it helps.

They are connected to same lan, the denon via wireless and my computer via cable to the router. THe problem it doesnt always work , randomly works

 

Thanks for clearing this up.

 

In this case, if you switch from LAN to WiFi on your desktop, you should always see the speaker as a device.

 

What could be causing this issue to happen only sometimes, is if you're using the speaker with your phone via Connect, or a different device using the same WiFi. In this case, the speaker will show as an option on your desktop app since it's currently on use.
